Great deals on golf equipment are everywhere! Among the latest is this promotion with Bridgestone Golf. Simply put, if you buy a new set of J36 irons (which are pretty sweet sticks, by the way) you'll get either a free carry bag, hybrid or wedge.

If you aren't buying golf equipment yet, you're officially missing out. Tour Edge, maker of the popular Exotics line, is offering a free Exotics XLD fairway wood and two free Exotics golf gloves with the purchase of a new Exotics driver.

Seriously, that's a tough deal to beat. Ok, it can't be beat. Unless it was free. But if it was free, it wouldn't be fair. Just buy it. I'm not talking anymore. Oh yeah, if you sign up you can win a sweet new Exotics putter. Ok, I'm done now.

Hmmm. Not a bad deal.

FootJoy is celebrating it's 20th anniversary of the DryJoy golf shoe with a contest to win a new pair. If you don't want to wait for the results, you can go buy a pair for $20.00 off during the 20-day period.

Pretty cool deal, especially considering that DryJoys have long been the standard for all-purpose, great-looking golf shoes. Not to mention the best-selling golf shoe EVER.

Somebody shoot a duck?

I'm kidding. But Boo Weekley isn't. Boo has already been spotted sporting the ultra-GQ, camo-meets-neon-orange hat/cap at Harbour Town (we used a special duck quacker to find him since his hat blended in so well with the trees). And no, the camo has nothing to do with golf, nor does the bright safety orange. Needless to say we love it. It's so tacky that it's not tacky. It's so bad it's good. It's so hideous, it's gorgeous.

Here's a challenge, by the way, for all of you. If any of you golfers have the chutzpah to actually wear one of these caps the next time you play golf, email me a photo. Send it to rnoll@golftipsmag.com. Not only will I post it right here on the blog, I'll send you a special gift (probably golf balls of some sort) courtesy of Golf Tips Magazine. First photo in gets the dozen...

I was poking around during my 90 seconds of free time today over at dicksportinggoods.com. Why? Cuz they're building one right by my house (it opens real soon) and I wanted to see if they had any good deals on running shoes.

I didn't find any running shoes that jumped out at me. But I did see that the folks at Dick's are going nuts. Really, they are losin' it. Callaway? They're nuts too. Looks like if you buy a new driver from Dick's, you can get a fairway wood to match it for $1.00. A buck. Uno. One. Less than a cup of coffee (here in L.A. at least.)

Are you kidding? A buck? Listen everybody, if you aren't out there gobbling this stuff and buying golf equipment while it's cheap (trust me, this won't last), you're nuts too. These are some of the best golf equipment deals I've ever seen. Dick's isn't the only one with this promo. Looks like it's everywhere! We're all going crazy!

I guess there is a silver lining when it comes to the country having some tough economic issues. Golf equipment is becoming more affordable, and bargains are a plenty these days.

Cleveland Golf, a company that in my opinion is among the best as far as customer service, has offered up an all new incentive to getcha to buy some new gear. If you spend $500 or more on Cleveland/Srixon products, you'll get TWO ROUNDTRIP AIRLINE TICKETS to one of 42 different destinations in the US.

That's not all, you'll also get ONE ROUND OF GOLF FREE!

Holy schnikes, that's a great deal! Offer expries in a few months, so hop on it.

I can remember back when the best ball around was the Precept EV Extra Spin (in my opinion.) And although it may seem like eons ago since I played one (about 10 years, actually), a fellow colleague of mine asked me if they were still available.

[Ahhh, I remember they were long and spun like crazy around the greens...those were the good ol' days.]

I responded to my colleague with a lighthearted "I think you can still get 'em", but couldn't help scour the internet and see if I could find them anywhere just to make sure.

Sure enough, they are still available! Not only did I pick up a box, I did so at an unbelievably great price. How's $14 bucks a dozen sound? Sweet!

Bob Bettinardi goes GQ?

We all know that Bob Bettinardi can whip up some of the most beautiful milled putter designs around. But how about 100%-milled belt buckles?

Yes, belt buckles. In case you haven't noticed, Anthony Kim's buckle trend has caught on, and several manufacturers have been making big buckles (companies such as adidas, J. Lindenburg and others) that seem to get plenty of air time when players hold their finish pose. Add Bob Bettinardi to that list.

Check out a few of Bob's designs right HERE.
