Score like Mickelson

Sometimes Phil can't catch a break. Upon defending his title as champion at the Northern Trust Open on the hallowed grounds of Riviera last week, seems the media can't help but put a little asterisk on his win. Hey, I can see the headlines now....

Phil Mickelson wins the Northern Trust Open*
(* the last tournament before Tiger's return to the PGA Tour.)

Nonetheless, Phil played beautifully en route to his win, and he couldn't have done it without optimizing his set. Speaking of which, Phil carries not one, two or three wedges. He actually carries four Callaway X-Forged models.

A 64, 60, gap/strong sand, and pitching wedge. These wedge helps him get up and down from anywhere. ($199.99)

Where my wedge at, Cooter?

You have to hand it to Boo Weekley.

Camo (that's short for camouflage for all you people west of the Mississippi) had never been en vogue until he popularized it with his po'dunk personality and style. Nonetheless, we know the truth behind Boo's schtick, and while he may not appear to the bet sharpest tool in the shed, we no doubt think he's one of the coolest, most savvy and most fun-to-watch players on the PGA Tour.

Oh yeah, about this wedge: It's camo. It's Cleveland. It kicks some serious possum a-word. ($129)
